Infosys, country's second largest software services firm, reported
4.95 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 3,606 crore in the
September quarter of fiscal year 2016-17 against Rs 3,436 crore in the
June quarter, above Street expectations.
The IT giant had reported Rs 3,398 crore net profit in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
Infosys, however, cut FY17 revenue guidance in constant currency terms to 8-9 per cent against 10.5-12 per cent announced earlier. This is for the second time the company has cut guidance in the ongoing fiscal year.
The consolidated revenue grew 3.14 per cent to Rs 17,310 crore for the said quarter as against Rs 16,782 crore in July-September 2015, the Bangaluru-based firm said in a BSE filing.
The company declared an interim dividend of Rs 11 per equity share.
The figures are as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
